Indeed, but, watching those games myself where I could, it was Umaga making the calls and being the playmaker, whereas in our first team we have Sopoaga or Miller at 10, and they do not do that, or at least do not appear to. Booj was great with having a playmaker inside him.

My point was more that Booj was playing the same role Jimmy did, when Cips was our 10.  Cips would make the calls, but Gopps had the physical skill to pull it off. Gopps at 10 was never as good for me because his speed of thought didn't seem to be on the same level (to be fair, not many are).

I was followed by Saracens Business Club on Twitter yesterday so think I might be on the move in a rugby / coffee capacity!

For me, Booj lacked/lacks the key requirement; being a playmaker. Maybe it will come. If I were him, I would be taking personal coaching classes from Jimmy on how to fill that role.

That's my point - we would not (ideally) have thrown him in as we had to with Jimmy injured - he would have learned how to have played at 12 without the pressure as the only fit 12

I can only assume then that they are eyeing up veteran props, either that or they want to invest heavily in my science teaching

Despite being on the list at Jersey as in contract next season Will Homer has just announced his departure from Jersey on Instagram.
Rumoured to be coming to us so could well be fighting it out with Porter and Vellacott next year to be Robson’s deputy

Let's just wait and see if Robson is cleared as we may need a little more than a Homer.
Let me tell you something cucumber
