Only just after half time but Josh doing what is asked of him. Fekitoa is a classy centre making ground on most occasions.  TT not on yet.

Does Eddie have any input into team selection for a game like this?

Just wondering if it adds any insight into the current pecking order

No he was quoted in saying he was not interested in being involved but he is there watching. Jim Mallinder is in charge.

Yes, congratulations Josh. Was only able to watch until half time. Josh did what he had to do and got the try. Thought Fekitoa looked quality making yards and making good decisions defensively. Looking forward to seeing him in Wasps colours.

It will be interesting to see us with a No 13 who can tackle and pass.

Really think we should be looking at Williams as the long term solution at 12.
He had his injury issues a few seasons ago and perhaps the reason why it was Newcastle that took a chance him and no one else did. However, look at how much Devoto has come on at Exeter with regular gametime, really think Williams could do the same.
He is too good to be playing in the Championship and we should take a look.
Arguably a similar player to Booj but a lot younger with more potential IMO.

Williams? I didn't see the game so apologies for not knowing who you are referring to.

Good to read positive comments about Fekitoa though.

Johnny Williams of Falcons.

I thought Fekitoa looked lively.  Put some structures around his pace and skill and he'll be a great asset.  Tommy didn't get much time to impress.  Josh looked lively and showed some good defence.

Enjoyed the game.

Edit: Mitchell and Dombrandt looked impressive.  Barnes waxed lyrical about Dombrandt, and his chances of going to Japan, but he seemed drunk, as usual.  Listening to Sky commentary for the first time in a long time, made me appreciate BT.  Ben Curry looked good to.

Josh showed some really good defense up against such a big unit and also in the air. He had a great game. Fekitoa also had a great game. In my eyes, he played far better in those 80 minutes than we saw all season from a certain briefcase carrying player who has now moved house.

Thought Fekitoa was hot and cold myself. Some things that better familiarity would help with though.

I thought they all played well, but I don't think anyone was taking it particularly seriously and were trying stuff they would never do in a league match. Hence there were loads of mistakes and I wouldn't look too hard at the 'areas for improvement' but what they showed they could do.  There were some impressive skills on show (some of the offloading was really exciting),and I think we have potentially a much more potent back line next season.
