Was hoping to go, but shortage of qualified coaches at our gymnastics club means we have to stay behind this weekend.

Never mind there's always Agen.

Yep.  Me and the missus.  Got the stupid-o'clock BA flight out of Gatwick on Saturday morning.

We are!

European weekends are still a relatively new experience for Coventry & Warwickshire’s and West Midlands Waspies so I expect another decent following will make it to Bordeaux.

See you there 😀

Safe travels to all

Not me, recovering from hip replacement surgery and having a range of 100m walking currently!

Hows the recovery going Mike...you getting thru it ok?
Sounds like an opportunity for a ride on the airport carts and a front row spot at the ground.

I'm ahead of the curve, thank you for asking. My rugby muscle surprised the surgeon as he had to dissect rather more meat than usual for the normal client! Weigh baring same day for a few steps - which was encouraging

10 days on, can walk short distances with no sticks and did 15 mins yesterday, slowly with sticks. The lack of pain from the joint is good, and my main problem is patience. I do so hate sitting around. But I can only gently increase the exercises!

Seeing physio for check up next week.

I wouldn't recommend the operation for causal fun....blimey, a wound that size does "sting" rather, though the strong drugs were fun for a day! Majority of discomfort from the wound - glut gets a bit stiff and quad a bit "sensitive" - improving though

I'd love to go, but couldn't plan ahead - I am planning going to a nearby pub tomorrow for a pint!

7 of us heading over...4 on Friday direct to Bordeaux and 3 on Saturday (via Bergerac - could be challenging!).
Notice that Wasps have tweeted about meeting at The Dog and Duck on Friday and HMS Victory Pub on Saturday...see you there  :)

Thanks to Ricohchez' for starting this thread and in doing so, reminding me that I hadn't booked any match tickets.   ;D

Sorted now.
