It was an odd game overall - Sale especially were so often offside that I did wonder, the breakdown wasn't officiated consistently (or at all) and the reffing - whilst it probably didn't change the result, was poor enough to have made a material difference to the score.

Quins have no one to blame but themselves, but I did think Tempest was barely at the races, too often. They didn't adjust, but he called Quins in the side, when they weren't and didn't bother with the Sale backrow basically not bothering with "tackler release" "getting to feet" "no hands in ruck" and all my other bugbears.....

I watched the game....but it wasn't a good advert for the game....

Leicester currently beating Bristol 21-6 at half time... looks like Bristol are imploding.

Yes, I think Bristol recruited poorly in the close season and are being found out defensively. Their midfield is like Swiss cheese.

No, not good but I think Tigers were always going to find enough wins to get out of it. Irish and Worcester will be the main contenders for the drop for me. 3rd to 10th will just be a dogfight.

Things I learnt about watching Tigers game today.
Ford will again keep them safe single handedly, he really is playing well. At home they will win more games than away. The forwards are playing pretty well now and backs with Ford look decent. Be interesting to see them in the 6N tho. I expect them to start climbing based on that home form, much better than last week.
Bristol were again toothless. Apart from a wonder try from end to end they created very little while covering many meters. Their form is at our level so are lucky to have wins in the bag. The 500k man was anonymous again. Apart from a host of quality pick ups from a retreating scrum, in the loose he was more Nathan Who than Hughes.

Leicester Bris was pretty exciting, couple of storming tries from Bristol including one directly from the restart of the 1st. But Leicester had enough to keep them at bay. Interesting that Leicester have Genge in the back field for kick return when defending.

Just watched Gloucester beat Bath too. Bath are pretty poor, very little cutting edge in attack and flinging it wide rather than punching it up the middle. To be honest that is something that has afflicted Wasps too. Bath are a squad with decent names but are not playing as a team.

With the 6N coming..are you mad. Anyway, ref's have a different rule book for him.
Piatau in an MCL to go with the snout. Not sure to what extent but could be weeks rather than months. Have to say today he made some stupid error,s looks like he needs a rest anyway.

With regards to Tigers, there has to be a worth about what happens when Ford is stood down for his mandatory rests as part if the EPS
