Tiggers game
« on: February 15, 2020, 03:47:51 PM »
Mostly the ref has been pretty good.

But when I hear him shout "Four! Your offside!" then do nothing when he still goes for the chargedown. Or when he yells "No No!" and still lets the player scrag Robson, I get a bit frustrated.

Also, allowing second person in to a breakdown (making it a ruck) use their hands...Mostly getting it right, but glaring errors in allowing anyone on feet who "survives the clear out" to continue to got for the ball with their hands......and allowing tackled player to keep moving. But I am slightly obsessed with Laws 14 and 15...  :D

Wasps have had the best of a very tight first half.

Tigers line out is poor. Wasps giving penalties away at the breakdown.

Both 10’s looking shaky. Probably where the game will be won and lost.

Hope we can edge it. It’s going to be a very long second half.

Largely irrelevant to your point, but weren't the laws changed so that the ruck is always formed at every tackle?

I think it was to stop the tactic that Italy used against England where their players were standing on both sides of the ball before the ruck was officially formed because they weren't committing anyone to the breakdown

I'm very upset by all this time we choose 3 points instead of trying to mark a try. While they had a yellow car, why don't try to mark at least 5 points? Now they are close to our line and still have the opportunity to win the game.

Here is the highlight of why we shouldn't kick 3 points when we have a penalty in their 22.

First line out wasn’t straight then Youngs punches Rowlands. Result- Leicester go upfield for a try.

Need to get attacking the throw again

Which geriatric is asleep in the truck this week?

Disgraceful to ignore the punch on Rowlands.

With Tibo and Carr we are just a bit lightweight against a Leicester 8 which has been picked based on human bulk by the looks of it.

That was IRO offside. Law 14.10 applies. A ruck is formed at the point a second player arrives at the tackled player. Law 15.2

I'm depressed. Tiggers are bad, but we offer a discount on points today.

Absolutely typical.

We butcher one then concede.

Dai not being here has done wonders.

There goes the match. Depressing season continues.

Rowlands punched in the face and ignored, Kibirige tackled around the neck and ignored.

I do wonder what the point is sometimes.
