An Open Letter to Dai

I'm really sad to see him go, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited about the future.

+1 in heaps.  Thank you Dai.  We owe you and I wish you so much success and happiness in the future.   You deserve it.

Completely agree with the Dai sentiments. For me he had done and continued to do a fantastic job against a backdrop of unique challenges. Not sure I'm in the +1 category if that means being excited, ergo agreeing he should have gone. Personally I feel we were ostensibly on track on what has been a very difficult journey. I'll always be excited about the future but I still think it should have been with DY at the helm.

+1 from me.

I was a bit divorced from rugby and the club at the time due to personal "issues" and its only in the last 4 or 5 years I've got back into level of interest I had previously. But I fully understand what we own Dai and I'm also a little excited by the future....and actually getting to games when the body had mended!

This is how I feel too.

The only reason I'm as accepting of the situation as I am is because we already know that Dai has said it'll be good last Wasps contract.

Therefore, if we're building an initial 5 year plan, we know it won't all involve Dai.
If we want continuity over that 5 years then that's maybe how a decision like this comes around

Great sentiments VV. I wholeheartedly concur.

I tweeted it to Thomas Young and he has picked it up, so no doubt his dad may well have seen it.

Thanks John, Emma has tweeted me to say he has seen it. I hope it gives him some idea of the love there is for him amongst the Wasps faithful.
