Nice to see Willis up and walking around on the pitch.

I am pleased for the team, of course, but also those brave souls who managed to get to the Friday evening kick off. Enjoy your travels back.

11632 peoples.

Friday night unfortunately.

I would be there but I attend with my six year old and he's too young for night games at the moment. He's already tucked up in bed. Can't wait to tell him the score in the morning. :)

EDIT: And into mid-table too!!!

RBB: Not a dream. As Max Boyce would have said, I was there.
Attack was great. Defence was strong. Relatively few scrums as I recall.

Sounds like everyone in black and gold had a great evening out. Such a shame this wasn’t on tv, no doubt the highlights won’t be up to much.

Maybe we should have played a bit more ball in hand despite the weather last week.
Two bonus points for 8 tries should be a thing too.

Interested to hear player ratings/appraisals from anyone there

Hard to single anyone out Jonny, honestly everyone played well. Robbo so so 1st half.
Umaga was class but maybe tried a bit too much sometimes but that not a criticism. Fek's and Gops were utter class in midfield. Basset was back to his best. Carr played like there was 2 of him and Willis, so good. But honestly, first time everyone fronted and played with cohesion. More offloads this game than last 2 seasons in total.
Thought Harris was good too.

Dobby messed up one pass in our 22 early on but from then on his play was sound.  More importantly his leadership and determination for the team to maintain its focus throughout, especially at the start of the second half, was clear to see.  48 -5 when he came off on 55 minutes is a pretty good night's work, unfortunately EJ will be oblivious to it.

So was this performance for Dai or because he’s no longer involved? ( just playing devils advocate)
