I think the punishment that Sale and Rensburg (was the agent ever punished) received was a bit light but where do Glos get the £400k figure from?

May be the value they put on the player as part of their squad. Who knows what goes through donkey brains.

Think they’ll see that signing a comparable replacement at this time will be much more expensive, and may require buying someone out of contract from a different club

All this occurred, if the BBC have reported the timeline correctly, 2 yrs ago.. so presumably nothing to do with the new situation
