I would like to say i am surprised by this but really i am not. SISU are not likely to change their spots and their actions this week simply prove this old adage once more. Sky Blues posters seem to think this is putting the football club in a strong position, however this is certainly not the case. Warwick Uni would do well to look at this and cut ties quickly now before any formal agreement is reached, this should serve as a huge red flag for them.

Well this time round it is clearly a case of SISU keeping the football club outside of Coventry.  The recent "fairly woolly" stadium announcement makes sense as a bit of a desperate attempt to gain support from CCFC supporters.

It will be lost revenue but also a hassle that we don't need.

I cannot disagree with this. SISU have made the decision, their “indemnity” excuse trotted out with their announcement has been blown out of the water with our reply. As much as i would like to see the football club back in the city it is now abundantly clear that we cannot work with SISU at any stage any more. It is time to completely cut ties with them.

Time to take their badge off the ground then if they don’t want to play there!

Sounds as though Wasps were dealing with CCFC, and then SISU made a decision, once again based on trying to make it look like Wasps were the bad boys.

Wonder if this is the lead-up to to SISU starting civil action about the sale of the stadium?

The problem with Sisu is that they're pathological liars.

Part of my job involves accepting undertakings from pathological liars. It's a waste of paper and ink.

Yes-I sense Sisu sent CCFC in to bat for them against Wasps and without warning pulled the plug on  a good deal.

Sisu are toxic.

Certainly hope not but I suspect you're right Roger. The amount of time and money we've already wasted on defending ourselves in every court in the land only to be proved right on each occasion should be enough for SISU to finally back off. However, given their track record, I doubt it. Another sad day for CCFC and it's supporters.

So, it's as suspected. Just smoke and mirrors from them again. We can earn as much without them there. Time to just end all negotiations, save ourselves lots of time and focus on Wasps at The Ricoh.

Well that's that then. CCFC have seemingly blown all chances of returning to the Ricoh by siding with SISU. I wish them good luck, but the stadium and all its add ons belongs to Wasps and it's probably best we now treat it as ours and move forward appropriately.
