Shame. With Wasps identifying him at Loughborough and transforming him from a 3rd choice Uni fly half to promising Premiership lock it would have been nice to see him develop his career further at Wasps but that's professional sport these days. I wish him well wherever he ends up playing.

Good luck to him at Toulouse. I must admit I'm not sure this is too big a loss for us. Don't get me wrong I'd like to have seen him stay and develop but his performances last season weren't as stellar as has previously been implied. A big leap from where he came from - yes, granted, but not great on their own merits. One thing is for sure if Rowlands now goes we'll need recruitment in excess of Edwards and Douglas.

I agree with you. An offer from Toulouse would be hard to turn down but how much game time will he get.

Am I right in thinking he's the only French player in the EPL?

2 seasons ago he was playing for Loughborough Uni 5ths.. the mind boggles.
