Smithy
« on: September 03, 2020, 10:46:23 AM »
Just been listening to Jack on the Rugby Union weekly. Very interesting and he came across very well.

By the way, he doesn't half remind me of James Cordon, so in my mind I call him Smithy, well it's better than Dobby!

Don't really get on with James Cordon as a presenter either, but did enjoy Gavin and Stacey. Anyway just a silly thought that I thought I'd share.

The podcast is worth a listen though, he does come across well.

Thought Cordon playing Clem Catini in the Joe Meek biopic was quite good - very much like the real Clem.

However, with the exception of the "Smiffy giving the England soccer team a motivational speech" he did for Sports Releif I have never been that impressed - never really got him in Gavin & Stacey either.
