When I saw the Wasps team I thought it looked great, admittedly my heart then sank a little when I saw a full strength Sarries team. With a little grit, confidence and the ball going to hand then why couldn't Wasps win. I am not going to write them off, there's no shame being beaten by the current champions at full strength, but imagine a win!

However - look who's running the line, in case you mised him during the week:

Saracens v Wasps (Allianz Park, 12.30pm) Live on BT Sport

Referee: Christophe Ridley (26th Premiership game).

Assistant Referees: Craig Maxwell-Keys & Adam Leal.

TMO: David Grashoff.

Citing Officer: John Byett.

And he is the "Senior" Ref in the group. Just as well we know we are beaten!!

In fairness, he was touch judge the last time Jimmy Gopperth played 10 at Allianz Park, and we didn't do too badly that day!

I could not agree more BNTR! Let’s cheer them all the way!

I've checked the minutes played and can report that all bar Jimmy can play the full 80 minutes againstSarries. Jimmy has to be subbed after 78.

Assuming the props are subbed at the usual times that leaves everyone bar Tom Willis, unless he is subbed at half time, available for Tigers. If Jimmy is given that match off all of our fit 1st choice players can play against Bristol too.

Hmm, write this one off as an experience for the fringe players and then plan for a win next week.

Genuinely can't believe it. I wasn't going to be able to watch it, but I did and have screamed my lungs out at how good we were. Out classed a Sarries while Sarries had how many players from this past world cup final? Absolutely sensational performance. Couldn't be happier to be wrong!
