Back in time for Christmas ?
« on: November 17, 2020, 06:03:38 PM »
BBC reporting government looking at allowing football stadiums to open in December.

But it would probably be in areas that are back in tier 1 . So if rugby was also allowed chances are Coventry would be ruled out?

Before lockdown, it was tier 2 heading for tier 3, yes? Besides, people come from all over the country for rugby matches, or, at least, a much wider catchment than football fans. And then you have the away fans ...

I’m assuming it would be still be on reduced admission basis ,which would probably mean no away fans anyway.

Noticed that Bristol were restricting season tickets to a max of 7000 so I assume they had worked out a likely maximum allowed in to Ashton gate. I guessing Wasps would be a similar amount.

Interesting that about a month ago Vaughan intimated we would hear in a couple of weeks about STs. Must be soon.
