Apparently, Saracens v Ealing Trailfinders is televised this weekend, so all is not lost.

It’s on PPV. £8.99 . Get it from Ealing main site

Ealing Trailfinders?  The home for at least 3 ex-Wasps??  If so - I know who I'll shout for ..................................  (not EAs)

The player welfare argument is bollocks given that a) the league has been progressing despite risk to players and their families and b) the season was designed with no breaks and the players were going to be flogged through it regardless.

Trying to claim a two-week break as magnanimity on behalf of the organisers when they've been bounced into it is desperate, desperate spin

That's the point I was making earlier in this thread.

PRL do not seem to be an agile organisation able to make quick decisions. So they do nothing and present it as a solution. I'm not impressed by Childs at all. Does not come across as dynamic or an effective leader.

I don't enough about Childs to comment on him, but I can imagine the job must be like herding cats.

This one was simple I think. Those at the top, playing well or with some momentum wanted to play. No-one else did.

Those without international players didn't want to play against those with as they would have been made available by the date shift.
