Rumours of O'mahony speaking to Sarries.

How in the hell is this possible.
O'mahony
Faz
Billy v
Mako
Itoje
George
Kruis
Liam Williams

Plus some very good squad players like Maitland, go9de, wigglesworth etc who must command a significant wage

That lot must be costing about £3-4 a year. The rest of their squad must be costing £4-5m a year. Take two marquee players out, and they could be at £6-8m a year. Maybe more.

It will 'add up' if the accountants want it to.

The salary cap was abandoned when Sarries threatened to spit their dummy out anf bring in the lawyers. No need to stick to it now.

Skelton, Tolofua, Figallo, Burger (retiring I guess), Bosch wouldn't have been cheap when they signed him, Barritt won't be cheap now, they kept Spencer from Sale, Loz has re-signed and that won't have been cheap.

I would be surprised if O'Mahony left Ireland. I think his agent is trying to achieve a better deal for him. From what I have heard the current offer is a bit derisory and he (quite rightly) wants something better.
