Interesting comment, I assumed it was a national policy on attendances rather than local

Heard at work today that Wolverhampton are only allowing around 4,500 in for their football game this weekend. Perhaps Coventry council have a similar limit? Or maybe working to have it operated as a trial for a higher % capacity that is currently allowed?

Wonder if they are trying to pitch it as a trial event regarding rugby league World Cup fixture ? I know it’s not till end of October but could be chance to test footflow and bottlenecks

I think you may be on to something judging by what I've heard, or at least that was the plan last week.

This morning however the latest government advice regarding Leicester, and seven other areas where the Indian variant is problematic, saying that people should avoid traveling into and out of these areas. This may scupper our chances of a bigger than expected crowd given Leicester is only a short distance from the Ricoh.

So effectively Wasps can't offer tickets for sale to Leicester fans although how many of them actually come from Leicester is moot. Plus would have to be careful about selling locally willy nilly (not a banned phrase I hope)
Let me tell you something cucumber

It's only recommendations so Wasps can offer the tickets and then Leicester fans have to decide what to do - a sort of travel but don't travel situation.

The restrictions in place for our game at the Gardens make interesting reading, presumably something similar will be in place for our Tiggers game.

Do they actually have to admit to being a Tigers' supporter?

A limited number of tickets will be made available for General Sale on Friday 28 May

We are pleased to confirm that up to 7,500 Wasps supporters will be able to attend our final home game of the season against Leicester Tigers on Saturday 12 June.

The match will be the first event at Ricoh Arena with fans in attendance since lockdown started back in March last year.

Although included in the Season Membership Plus, supporters will be asked to confirm they wish to attend this match in order to allow us to manage the stadium accordingly. All Season Members will receive an email asking them to complete a brief survey and confirm their attendance. Applications will close at 5pm on Wednesday 2 June. Please be aware that Season Members may not be allocated their usual seats due to social distancing measures and capacity restrictions. Changes to seat details will be confirmed via email.

A limited allocation of tickets will go on general sale on Friday 28 May. These tickets will be priced at £15 per adult, £10 for concessions and £5 for those aged 17 and under. All tickets will be subject to a £1.50 booking fee.

We shall be applying a proportionate allocation of tickets between Season Members, General Sale, Hospitality and other stakeholders, such as partners and affiliates.

Full details regarding ticketing and how to attend this game are outlined below.

Important Information
- Anyone confirming their attendance at the match or purchasing a ticket will be self-certifying that they are not suffering from any symptoms of COVID-19, both at the point of accepting or purchasing a ticket and again 48 hours prior to the date of the match. You will also be confirming acceptance of our COVID-19 Supplemental Terms and Conditions and our COVID-19 Supporter Code of Conduct.
- It is the responsibility of our supporters to decide whether or not it is appropriate to attend this fixture. This decision should be based upon current government and local guidelines regarding coronavirus restrictions, your own health status and susceptibility to infection, and that of members of your family, social bubble or, where applicable, your support bubble, together with an assessment of your own attitude to the potential risks.
- A social distanced seating plan and capacity restrictions will be in operation for this fixture. Families in the same household or people in a support/social bubble can still sit together if the group is no bigger than six.
- There will be increased cleaning taking place, sanitisation stations will be in use and the Club may introduce processes around access designed to minimise risk to supporters. Face coverings will be required for all attendees[/li][/list]

Shame can’t go . General sale tickets seem cheap compared to Irish and Saints ,half the price at least.
