Worcester v Gloucester is also off as there has been a further positive test at Gloucester with even more players needing to isolate.
Worcesters second win of season?

Isn't it 4 wins but 3 are Covid

Their only actual Premiership win this season was 11-10 at home to Irish.  Yet they will finish the season on 27 points.

And Wasps who have not been impacted at all get NO Covid points!

Or as I put it in another thread:

This means that Wuss will end the season with 4 wins, only one of which they've actually had to play for. Farce.

Super League came up with a Percentage system to take into account cancelled matches. As they award 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw and no BP it's easy to do.

If Premiership Rugby applied a similar system it could have been based on the percentage of points available based on 5 per match being the maximum any side can get.

Had they applied this system, the League table would look like the attached image.

The biggest changes to the table is we'd be sixth, ahead of Leicester, and Bath and Gloucester would swap places.

Nice but too difficult for PRL.

Both considering their track record.

Are Wuss going to lose out financially after a no-show by  the oppo?  Oh dear  -  if so,  Wasps know exactly  how they feel.

Thanks for posting that league table.  Been wondering how it would shape up without points awarded for a nice rest week, and didn't feel inclined to work it out!

Based on that, points per game played looks like this:
           Pl   Pts   Pts/Game
Bris           21   81   3.86
Ex           21   78   3.71
Sale           21   73   3.48
Quins   20   64   3.20
Nor           18   45   2.50
Wasps   21   48   2.29
Leic           19   43   2.26
LI           19   42   2.21
Glouc   20   41   2.05
Newc   18   36   2.00
Bath           19   32   1.68
Worc           19   15   0.79

Not a huge difference, but drops us from 6th to 7th.

Bath the real beneficiaries when compared to the actual league table.  Results-wise they're next to bottom, yet they go into this weekend with European qualification in their own hands.

But they'll probably knock it on!
