Pretty happy with that starting squad for 1st match. Still not entirely sure how Conan made it but i am sure that the choice will ring true.

A fairly boring Win against Japan yesterday.  Thought Van de Merwe played very well, otherwise not really any real standout performers.

Guess the biggest talking point is Murray the new tour Captain cementing his place in the test XV early on.

Both Price and Davies offer a bit less structure in their play.  I have to say though, Danny Care looking like the pick of the bunch on form and I being a one-eyed fan Robson strikes a good balance of kicking and being able to play what he sees.

Murray just feels a bit too one-dimensional at the moment and spent most of yesterday booting the leather off of the ball.

Felt like a barbarian match to me , but at least it gave a run out and a chance to gel , albeit without England.

Still at least it was a chance to get to the pub early before the main event that followed!
