Would love a crack at Tigers first up! Ideally at ours, but I would be fine with Welford Rd as well.

I must admit, I quite like the week off every 7 weeks. Gives the squad a chance to regroup, sort little niggles out etc.

Looks like we are already into "we have to move" for the footy.

Would have preferred the "bye" week later so our guy could catch a breathe.

I'm uncomfortable with our bye in round one. The following week we face Bristol at the CBS. The Bears will have already played their first game of the season against the EAs in Bristol. If they lose they'll be out for revenge and if they win, they'll be cock a hoop. Unless they suffer some significant injuries, then I can't see us having any possible advantage whatsoever.

Each team gets 2 bye week-ends.

Our second one is week 19.

Disappointed about the bye but it will give our injured players one more week to recover.

SORRY!!!!!   >:(

I do see it as a disadvantage having our bye week tagged on to the summer break.  Other teams will have 2 opportunities for a week's break during the course of the season, whereas we just have an extra week of pre-season, and as someone said, we then go into our opening game against a team that already has a tough match under its belt as opposed to a friendly against Dragons.

13 team league not good.  But hey, it was the only way to get Sarries back on board so I guess we should all be grateful for that!
