Yes, indeed. And it emphasises our ambition to develop and then promote from the academy as we have an extra coach working on transition. Seems like quite a young dynamic unit on paper.

Yes reading the offy they all seem young and from lower level rugby. Hopefully very keen to improve us and themselves.

Interesting no mention about Gleeson, I'd have thought he'd have been included here if he was leaving. Who knows...

I was going to ask if it had been confirmed that he has left. Strange.

From the article, mentions planning for Everards transition to Costellos role for two years. Means Costello must have indicated a while back he would be going.

+2 I think having a larger group of coaching avoids the risk of group think and also takes some of the heat off the top guys. There are always going to be changes in emphasis in play - but often, it's great just to have some more ideas and I think with this set of coaches - plus Jimmy and other senior players, it means that we ought to keep a freshness to our approach

Especially if we have a little luck with injuries/recovery. I especially want to see Mills play.......

Robinson seems quite a catch - and he'll already know Jacob!

Costello was actually announced some time ago so we knew he needed replacing.

Lack of mention of Gleason is interesting as Robinson only detailed as skills plus some attack from scrum and lineout - that last bit is interesting as thought this would be Gleeson’s bread and butter so maybe something with England cannot be announced yet.
Robinson will then just get moved over to the role he has probably already been recruited for.

Still not sure what England want Gleason for and whether it’s a poisoned chalice of a job anyway

I wonder if they had to be named because training is about to start.
