One too many
« on: December 31, 2017, 04:28:54 PM »
Just before kick off when it was announced that Kyle was out I really thought that was one injury too many, then the first 30 mins happened. It really seems like there is good competition in the squad and players realising they need to make the most of their opportunities. It also looked like they were playing carefully, not just flinging it every time.

At least, not all the time did they fling it. But, yes, they are starting to gel.

I missed the announcement and didn't realise until several minutes into the game that he wasn't playing.

Says a lot about the competition for places.

We've wanted to be in this position for a long time. Long may it last!
