Hospitality staff problem solved
« on: November 27, 2021, 01:51:25 PM »
Noting recent comments on here about service at bars around the arena , Newcastle are solving tonight’s staff shortage

Though after last nights performance not sure if I want some of our players to be passing drinks to me!

Last night in the Mill Bar, plenty of staff, but they had not got a clue what they were doing. I think our Personnel Dept. are having a nightmare recruiting. These individuals had very liitle clue to how to serve beer and lager.

Not sure if anyone else was in The Anecdote but it is without doubt the slowest service I’ve ever experienced. Most gave up and just went to the casino - money straight out of Wasps pockets.

We gave up. Three deep both sides of the bar and only a couple of staff permanently on station. Others seemed to come and go with little effect. The Mill Bar was closed after the match.

The Mill Bar was open pre- match but closed after the match. Many complained to the Hotel Receptionists that as residents they couldn't get even a simple drink.

The Mill pre- match had more staff on than permanently behind the bar in the Anecdote. It was initially empty but filled up AND the service was good.
