Going to be a strong team with something to prove. Banana skin - more like a full blown oil slick!

They don’t look too decimated to me!

I would be most surprised if we won that match.

I wish we were that decimated.

Strong old squad for Munster.

We've got a dilemma, as we're big F1 fans as a household as well.  We watch it via NowTV and so can't record, can only watch live.  Think we might be watching both on the TV back to back as it looks like BT Sport are showing all the games.

They will have all their experienced wise heads and decision makers available. The lesser members of their squad will be guided by them. Like others, until something radically changes in indivdual performances and collective game mamnagement, the odds will still favour Munster.

Hopefully I will be proved wrong and our lads will step up to the plate.

This is the difference between the Scarlets - who have forfeited today - and Munster. Munster have kept 3/4s of their top line players back and so they are actually available. They may be light on numbers, but they are hardly light on quality. They will field close to a fully international backline, and a forward pack with multi-cap internationanals. O'Mahoney alone might have more international caps than our entire team.

Decimated my arse.

He does indeed.  Our entire 23 vs Wuss at the weekend included 7 full internationals with 55 caps between them, with Minozzi accounting for nearly half of them.  Compare that to the 7 Ireland internationals listed in the article:

Earls: 96
Murray: 92 + 8 Lions
O'Mahony: 79 + 1 Lions
The other 4 have over 120 caps between them.
(Caps according to Wiki)

They still need to find another 16 players to make up a full match day squad, and the bulk of those are likely to be very inexperienced, so it should at least put us on a more even footing with Munster for this one.  Munster's line up could actually be very interesting to watch (for a neutral!) with such a polarised blend of youth and experience.  I'm certainly not writing off our chances.

The Bookies are not offering odds on this game yet.

Do this imply that they are still not certain that the game is going to happen?

Earlier this season, during a Munster match on TV, a commentator said th.at Munster had over 60 players in their squad, which, if true, isn't really "decimated"

To be pedantic the original definition of decimated  was to lose 10% of the force so maybe Munster could claim they have been more than decimated  :o

Beat me to it Marlow Nick. If we'd only lost one in ten I'd be much happier.
