That assumes the highly unlikely scenario that no more players test positive for Covid. True, they passed PCR tests taken on Saturday, but, the squad and staff will likely be taking daily tests this week.
There must now be positions where we have no players, or maybe only one, where two or three are needed. The crunch, I think, will be in the centres and hooker, and maybe wing and scrum half. There must come a point, and it cannot be far away now, where we throw in the towel. Or field a side for each game but tell them not to actually play (I remember our team doing that once as the referee was so bad and biased that we were getting thumped off the pitch). So we simply stood still on the pitch and let them score at will. They soon got fed up. Hopefully we wouldn't pick up any more injuries.
