Well, not much evidence of our defence coaching.

Defence looks atrocious - not just missing tackles but the entire system is falling apart so easily

That's Alfie out, a knee to each side of the head, but he has looked 'off' for a few minutes before that.

Sale looking good for this one, sad to say.

I am thinking they have more than a few glasses of ale and meat pies.

Quite a few in the pack looking dead, including Alo and Nemo.

Sitting here in the AJ watching us get beaten up and yet again doing the basics badly. Not much fun at the minute

Shocking intensity, and we look a mess. Very disappointing.

Both Carr and Shields looking very poor. Carr looks done, very slow to get up after tackles.

That can't be much fun watching that very poor performance. Glad I am not there.

On the field. Just Sale are much better at exposing our weaknesses than Irish were.

This is going to get ugly in the second half into the wind. Our tactical kicking game is poor in the best conditions. Hard to see any positives from that first 40 really.

We are being beaten up by a load of South Africans who are as fresh as a professional rugby player will get. Not a surprise but is dissapointing.

However, the laws seem to have changed again. We are back to turnovers being forbidden and holding on allowed which essentially moves the game to non counting rugby league.

I wish there would be some sort of consistency on this because the approach at the ruck appears to change like the wind.
