I would start him and give him 50 minutes, then put gopperth on. No point putting him on the bench

As a matter of interest, can Ryan kick? We're going to need every point we can get. Who other than Gopps or Rob Miller, if he plays, can kick for goals? Other than that I like it, Westy.

Plenty of mentions of goal kicking here including a long distance boot.

Doesn’t Charlie kick?

I think you're right Westy - Charlie does kick.

I suspect Lee will want to beef up the pack by starting Alo at THP and playing Fifita at 6.

In response to the Tigers kick fest I wonder if Millar will start at 15 and Crossdale on the wing?

Any thoughts?

I think Crossdale is a better player than Miller. He starts at 15 for me

Absolutely.

Full-back is a tough position to play when the opposition insist in putting the ball in the air all the time. Millar is a more natural 15 for me.

Impressed by Crossdale though.

+1

Crossdale's the future. Miller is a very good squad and utility player and has big game temperament, but this season we may as well get the young guns bloodied in the big games.

I'd have Miller on the bench because he covers a number of areas competently.
