Watching Bath v Quins and it’s genuinely one of the strangest rugby experiences I’ve had in a while. The commentary team, fans, and most bizarrely the officials seem to be engaging in a weird sympathy fest for Bath. Foley, who I consider a very fine ref seemed very keen to let them off numerous scrum penalties and there’s just a bizarre air about the game. Bath are bad. But they’re not yet deserving of this, surely.

Foley needs to have a look back at that. First 15 and then the rest. How a Bath player wasn’t binned at the start I don’t know and I counted at least 5 forward passes. I was totally ambivalent as to who won - the whole thing was just odd.
