I think we have a chance but we don’t know how we came out of Sunday yet. If West is not fit we have a problem at LH as I don’t think Hislop is fully fit yet. We’ll need to kick our points so that means another shift for Gopperth at 12 which must be stretching him now. We might have Barbeary coming back as a back row option into a squad that Carr couldn’t get into so we must have a chance but as much as anything else it’s the psychological factor of Sandy Park.

If I remember rightly Tom Willis is going through the longer return to play process post concussion that Tom Cruise did so won't be available for selection for a few weeks.

Alfie will, I'm sure, be chomping at the bit to play. That would give us a possible pack of West, Cruise, Alo, Launchbury, Stooke, Fifita, Shields, Barbeary. Considering Exeter are missing their first choice front row, 4 locks, 3 No 8s and 2 other back rows I think we should have a big advantage in the forwards.

We've got 5 games (I think) in the 6 Nations 'period' and at the moment no international call ups and a lot of our star players back. Anything less than 19 points in the next 5 games would be a disappointment for me.

Wasps are 66/1 to win the Premiership.

Think about that. There may be excellent opportunities for cashing out if we move up the table, even if we don't make it all the way.

100/1 at some places

I put a fiver on a couple of years back when it was 100/1 and we got to the final. Had faith and didn't get anything, with hindsight wish I'd taken the pay out when they offered £150 after the semi.

Quins in Jan last year had pretty long odds similar to those quoted.
Momentum is an amazing thing.

We could have solved both of those problems if we still had Zurabi Zhvania!

Betfair are offering 100/1 but they limit your bet to £10.

Do we move Brad to 7 and start Alfie at 8? Or start as we did against Sarries and bring Alfie off the bench? Or even start Alfie and give Brad a bit of a break? Of those options, I think I prefer the middle one.

All contingent on whether Alfie's fit enough to play, of course. No point risking him being out for weeks for the sake of one game.

another strength and conditioning team that need firing as well then!  ;)

Not sure you can blame S&C for the non-availability of Slade, LCD, Nowell, Hogg, Simmonds, Gray, Skinner etc.

This game has definitely fallen very kindly for Wasps, so hope we can take full advantage.

Well there was a wink at the end of his post. I think that indicates some posters who suggested that our S&C were at fault over our lengthy injury list😁
