I really like what we’re doing. Sustainable, sensible and exciting.

Hopefully another signing/academy sign up today?

I wonder who will be next and if we sign any more senior academy players such as Immanuel & Pietro

Agreed. I think this is likely to become the norm, the headline-grabbing marque signings are going to become few and far between due to both the reduction in the salary cap and the economic realities of running a professional rugby club which have been highlighted due to the Pandemic. Historically we've done extremely well bringing academy player through, that and picking up "waifs and strays" from other clubs. No reason why we can't be successful again doing the same thing, Chief's success wasn't built on signing a squad of superstars (unlike certain other clubs...)

Another local lad, again from Kenilworth (along with Jacob Umaga). Welcome to the big time. The good news keeps rolling in. Loving it.

Agree the getting more local lads in is very important for building the game locally, building the fan base and giving the club more of an identity in the area.
Have heard about a couple of outside backs in the U18 at present who really need signing up  (and hopefully will be next in Rokodraver and Glister) but good to see we’re producing some Tight 5s as well

I see from the article that he has played at Broadstreet RFC as well.
