The problem we have with so many returning players is that we have far too many combinations each game, throughout the game.
Jimmy got sucked in there.

Let’s not overreact to this.

We’re going through a type of transition.

Can’t win ball, can’t retain ball, can’t tackle. Very poor all round today. Probably reflects where we really are, 5th or 6th place team

Is gaining 30m not considered sufficient advantage?

Why do people always use this as an excuse? Start of the season we didn’t have enough players leading to to many new combinations, now we’ve got to many players and new combinations!! Why can’t we just admit that at this moment in time Quins are just a better side than us and we are probably a 5th or 6th place side. New combinations have nothing to do with knock ons and the ability to tackle

Always thought this was going to be the hardest game in the recent batch of games. I hoped for a tighter game but I think too many players coming back over a short period of time was always going to catch us out.

We have been up and down a lot in recent games, hopefully it will get better, disappointing but not surprised, Quins just better then us

Just hope jack is all good after the game and no other injuries. Keen to know how Mills got on.

Playing a poor Bristol team next week and we can get back on track

This is a genuine question, not me being salty at the ref's call: What happened to the rule that said you have to give the player who has dived on the ball a chance to get to his feet before trying to jackal?

There have been a couple calls where players have dived on the ball and the second the touch it, they are being jackaled

Agreed, but Porter coming on sped up our game massively.

You have never had to let the player get up, you just have to jackal / play the ball only not dive on or play the player
