Amendments to the Disciplinary process
« on: March 30, 2022, 04:48:12 PM »
http://rugbyandthelaw.com/2022/03/28/important-changes-to-rugby-disciplinary-regulations-world-rugby-rfu-hearing-player-banned/

Very sensible changes to allow players to better contest red cards hearings & allow lower sanctions where a player couldn't reasonably avoid head contact.

The rather sad thing is these were changed in January but not widely communicated....

Prima facie very sensible and overdue changes.

But the lack of transparency / publicity is worrying. how are players and their representatives expected to keep up to speed when their is a lack of information. Equally how is the fan base expected to appreciate the outcomes of hearings if changes are not made public?
