Back row is savage - any squad that can leave Carr and Young out is deep. I imagine starting Robson over Porter is a difficult one too.

The thing is, the back row selection dilemma feels like picking 3 from 6 international quality options.

The back 3 feels like picking 3 from some comparatively average options and promising youngsters

Nice position be in but think back only a few months where we were toiling to fill these positions.

In any normal season you’d spect a couple in each of those sets to have injuries or niggles that need resting.  Then there’s losses to internationals and maybe the odd ban to cover.

I can’t see Lee facing this problem too often, although long May it continue.

Hope we get to see Thomas Young in a Wasps shirt at least once more.

Only one home league game for that to happen- and a Friday night at that.
