Cipriani on Edwards & England

The fact that Shaun Edwards didn’t fit the RFUs culture or vision when he took the Wales job and still doesn’t to this day. Shows that the culture and vision is not aligned to growing or being successful. Do people change? Or change the people?

As far as I’m aware Shaun’s objections to England was that they would give him a [4?] year contract? Which is odd because they’ve committed to Eddie for longer.

It was Wales who wouldn't give him  4 year contract.

Initially didn't England offer him a job with the Saxons when Wales offered him the full international side.

I think there's some sense in Danny's remarks here. I think the RFU have possibly been deliberately avoiding Shaun, because if they hired him now and England did well - well, why didn't the RFU hire him 15 years ago or whenever it was.
