Weekend games - Spoilers!

Fiji 36 Tonga 0

That Tonga team looked quite tasty on paper, keeping particularly their back line scoreless a good effort by Fiji.

Folau only lasted 30 mins, one touch, off injured!

Ireland started well - I'm really glad England didn't have to play them at this pace....

Strange game from Ireland. They started really well but then gifted the ABs a couple of soft tries and never really looked like getting back in to the game until the last 10 minutes or so.

The ABs were up to some of their tricks again. Slowly running back between the 9 and first receiver to break their eye contact to slow the game down. Park should have pinged the ball at them to make the point. Not that that affected the game.

Unfortunately Wales as good as Wasps at running down the clock, deserved more from a great effort, next 2 tests could be brutal though especially if they keep giving penalties away like today.

Ireland looked a distance off today, but equally the ABs are not the force they were.

Oz determination and grit gave them a deserved win. England have a squad who could win, but you can see Eddie Jones coaching out talent, ability and instinctiveness game by game. We will only win if he goes. Great coaches and teams go out to win everything, the moment he said he was aiming for the World Cup only the board should of got rid of him.

Wales…well their ability to snatch defeat from victory continues. That was likely their best chance at a victory as the Boks were so off for the first half whilst also being in and out of the game for the second forty. Not sure they will be caught cold like that again this series.

Only Scotland left to spare our northern hemisphere blushes for the opening round now.

Will Rowlands just getting better and better as well, mixed it with some of the world's best second rows / forwards today and just keeps elevating his game to whatever level he plays at.

After a slowish start he appears to have now established himself as an international player - well done Will.
