You would have to think so, yes. Not exactly commuting distance.

But do Ampthill require him there every week.

That says he "will be helping the backroom team at Ampthill as a Specialist Performance Advisor."
That doesn't mean he has to be at Ampthill at all, he could do that from France.
Those that know Joe have consistently said he likes living in France too much to return the England, but you never know.

This - he has repeatedly said this.

Strange that the Twatter article says he is also the Georgian Defence Coach. Tbilisi to Ampthill isn't an easy journey.

Worsley is taking a break from full-time coaching and despite interest from French clubs his rugby focus will be on his consultancy role with Georgia for at least the next 18 months.

Quote
“I had a wonderful time at Castres (who lost the Top14 final to Montpellier) and also at Bordeaux over ten years in France and it is time for some personal development with a Masters degree course. Club rugby is amazing and I will miss the weekly ups and downs but it is only for a year and half and then I will back into it. There are various offers but I am not going to change my mind.

Just putting that there so some people don't get over excited about a possibility of him returning to Wasps!

Pegasus Airlines from Tbilisi, change at Istanbul, arrive at Stansted, and it's a 1h 10 taxi ride to Ampthill...

(Currently sat at a very small airport in rural Canada waiting for a flight and bored)

Getting decent timed flights out of Tbilisi was always a problem.

I've looked at trips to Georgia in the past and simply concluded that flights are banned from landing or taking off between 6am and midnight...

Yes somewhat bonkers but imposed by others I assume. Went to see Scotland tour and it was horrendous flying in and out timewise. Lovely place, great food and wine but would think more than twice flying in again.
