Weekend Games (Spoilers)

If you didn't watch it out of principle, then you deprived yourself of a spectacle.

Sarries just showed how to demolish Tigers. The scoreline, if anything, flatters Tigers.

One to watch for the future? Theo McFarland. MotM.

What are peoples opinions on Bath? I’ve found it incredible that for the thick end of 2 years they’ve been absolutely abysmal. So easy to rack up points against but with some talent in the squad. Or do they just have recognised names but not talent? A crazy team.

Sarries - Tigers game. Sarries were worth their win. I did think that they got some v generous reffing decisions which did move the momentum somewhat. Twice for rolling on the ground when there was nothing in it - and a v generous "holding on" when the EA's tackler never released.

You can never say it would have altered the result - but it did look a little generous....prob ought ot have been an EA yellow for offending in sequence. Too many niggles and cynical actions - the video ref intervened several times.

Tigers didn't help themselves.

But more than anything, I really hope someone takes them to the cleaners soon as the backslapping bolleaux on winning a scrum penalty is waay over the top. Tossers.

The Will Rowlands led Dragons nearly followed up last week's win over Munster but went down to The Sharks by a point, different side since Dean Ryan gone, be 2 interesting games in the challenge cup.

Whatever we think of them and him, Daly and Sarries were absolute class yesterday.
Sarries have evolved their game this year and look a real threat in attack and can still match anyone in muscle and that was without Itoje and Isiekwe in the second row yesterday.

Malins was very good again and watching a highlight show of Sarries lineouts would still be a decent spectacle to just watch McFarlane at work.

The games against Bayonne will also be challenging.

We will have to play more consistently, than we have so far this season, to have any chance of progressing in that competition.

Watching them yesterday was a bit worrying, played extremely well and gave tigers a lesson, which is always good to see. Not sure anyone can get close to them this season, very impressive, a well coached team

What do you mean, kick it and have 15 gorillas run after it.

Unfortunately not many teams will be able to stop it, as a few more stronger gorillas are coming back soon

The EA's played well. I guess it's easier when - somehow - you can leave two regular SR/8's out of the 23 and still have 4 regular England squad players in your starting pack....Not that I have any suspicions....

Tigers made a clear error ins thinking they could bring the replacements on in their pack after HT but somehow didn't seem to gauge their task. And they really didn't play the officials well.

They probably are going to be difficult to stop but any club that can start when they are at full strength, Mako, George, Nick I. Maro, Earl and Billy are not going to struggle much....That's before you look at the backline. International 10, centres and back three.......Still - must be within the cap...

And yes, I know I sound resentful...
