Cardall to Aus was also rumoured a while ago, so wonder if there’s anything in that too?

Tim was at the MCG for day 1 of the Boxing Day Test.

Launch played on Christmas day, and broke his hand.

Great to see him back, no Will Porter in this one but Bassett was very good.

Also a great line from Lol at one point.
Mullins asked him how he would have dealt with Andrei Estherhuizen in his day.
Lol replied “Joe Worsley”.

Fisilau starts at 8 for Exeter against Sarries - they’re definitely a little short in this department but they could have also shuffled others to not play him - obviously has made a good impression

Tweet from Bobby Bridge:

Greg Fisilau, 19, joined Exeter Chiefs after Wasps’ demise earlier this year. Tomorrow he makes his first Premiership start, away against Saracens. Billy Vunipola is his opposite number! Very exciting, dynamic young rugby player with a big future.

Goodness me. I'm not sure if I ever saw him play.

TRP article - My Life In Rugby - Joe Simpson is worth a read. "I would have played for Wasps for free" sums him up totally.

Can't post but should be free later in the week.

I know it’s going to be difficult financially, but it would be good to have a couple of players from the like Joe just to make instil the Wasps esprit de corps in the next club iteration.

Agree but in the article Joe says he has no interest in coaching - sadly.

Must admit from the rugby I’ve watched since we went bust our players in other teams have looked great. Maybe it’s because I’m focused on them? Maybe there is an extra hunger about them? But they are standing out. Makes me wonder why we weren’t tearing it up. 🤔
