Not to another Club, but Pudsey retweeted Ben Morris's tweet saying he is now a mortgage advisor

I wonder how many ex-Wasps players from last season would be available (or wiliing)   to re-join the Club for next season.

Guy Thompson tweeted that he'd dig out his boots.

Think his tongue may have been in his cheek, but still...

Unless they were desperate for a job, I can't see why they would.
This is not the Wasps they were made redundant from, different players, coaches, management, S&C etc etc.
Why would you want to come back to a team of strangers?

I did say unless they were desperate for a job  :)

On that note lovely to see Joe Simpson joining his local club
https://www.oldpriorians.com/news/joe-simpson-joins-oprfc-2761285.html

Love the quote form the club secretary: "Even though Joe has torn it up in the Premiership, in Europe and for England, critics have always questioned if he could cut it in the Middlesex Merit Tables in mid-February and if I know anything about the Simpson family, it's that they never back down from a challenge."

Didn't every player who has since joined another club find themselves in a team of strangers?
If the new owners are intent on establishing some level of continuity with the "new" Wasps in terms of personnel and try to re-recruit wherever there is an opportunity, be it players, coaches, back room staff, then I could see why it might be attractive.

I'm not deluding myself, many we already know are spoken for next season and beyond, and many more may not want to drop to the Championship whether or not Wasps' budget would stretch that far, but it is not inconceivable that the new club will be built around a core of returning employees.

I'd love to see him in full flight again. Great player and servant and just the sort of connect with the past that've I've talked about before.

He'd only be 37 or 38 :)

Sorry, but without wanting to be rude, I think you are.
Yes, a few players may come back if they can't get better contracts elsewhere but I cannot see a core of ex Wasps players or coaches coming back.
I would love to be proved wrong, but I think the new Wasps will be exactly that, New.

I'm still wondering if those rumours about Cipriani carry any weight.

If Simmo hadn't retired from pro rugby, he'd be a great option too.

Other than that, I suspect the closest week 3 get to ex-wasps players will be academy players who haven't picked up a senior contract yet

With the number discarded at the end of last season, plus our and WW players on short contracts added to those who will be discarded at the end of this season (who will probably already know) I suspect the team will be a sprinkling of senior and younger players (perhaps academy youngsters still in the area). I do recall the Training Centre was kept running for some players to keep fit until they got sorted.

Note last weeks Kenny Logan interview where he said he had large numbers of agents contacting him and players showing interest. It certainly won't be the same but it could be interesting!

I think it is possible we?ll see a few of the old squad back. Possibles could be Ben Morris? Zac Nearchou? Elliott Millar-Mills? Cam Dodson? Kieran Curran? Sam Wolstenholme? Will Hayden-Wood? Sam Spink? Possible/optimistic.

Any that have not yet found another contract, and would still have been in contract with Wasps next season, in effect come free.
