Comment on DW about a coach - Rob Howley. I must admit I had forgotten about him. Good coach and wants rehabilitation. Good choice for the waifs and strays club.

That was my suggestion on the DW thread. I've got another idea too.

Since Jack Willis will become ineligible to be picked for England next season if he continues with Toulouse (and by all accounts they both want him to continue playing there), why don't Wasps offer him a  contract where he is loaned to Toulouse while Wasps are in the Championship (much like Sarries did by loaning out England players while they were there) and charge Toulouse his salary. Since he'd be contracted to Wasps he'd be eligible for England and if/when we get promoted he'd be able to play for us.

Olly Hartley on the bench for Sarries,

Tom West first start (I think) for Tigers

Interesting idea, but no doubt won't be allowed as it was different for the EAs because reasons.

West, Gopps start for Tigers. Atkinson on the bench.

I'm watching the Tigers/EAs match at the moment because of ex-Wasps playing.  Gops has first start for 4 months, plus Westie so I'm viewing first rugby on tv for a long time.  Score? Reminiscent of the Valentine's Day Massacre right now.

Hartley and Hislop on EA bench with Atkinsin on Cheetahs bench.

Strange number of empty seats visible.

Hislop came on but not Hartley - or I didn't notice that change.
Yes, odd to see empty seats at the stadium. Half-term?
I now chose which team to support depending on the number of Wasps playing.

They?ve made a couple of shrewd signings. McDonald looked good for us.

Kibirige and Spink start for the Force this weekend against the Rebels, no sign of Cardall this week though.

After a dodgey preseason the Western Force beat the Rebels.
Spink and Kibirige looked lively, Spink with a couple of great runs and a beautiful offload in the first half. Unfortunately went off with a hamstring injury at half time, hopefully not the same troublesome hamstring that has given him issues in the past.
Cardall played for the Rebels A team this weekend.

TRP  suggests Jack will stay at Toulouse - excellent for him.
Lee to Edinburgh as Head Coach
Alfie close to playing but Bath cautious after so many injuries.
