Slight tangent: Jeff Toomaga-Allen (now at Ulster) on the bench for Samoa v Italy.

Love reading this: RUCK sources indicate although a move to Saints is likely, Willis would only sign until the end of the season with the view to rejoining Wasps in the Championship next season.

Alfie Barbeary set to turn down Saracens for Premiership rival - should imagine he doesn't want to sit on the bench waiting for something to happen to Billy

Odendaal on verge of Japan move. Launch considering short term move abroad. And then Exeter picking up Feyi-Waboso, Bell and Fisilau.
So, one of the most vocal advocates in our relegation etc has picked up Frost and three huge prospects at a time when cap restraints make them like gold dust. Pleased for the players but the whole thing stinks. Vested interest doesn’t even cover it.

our punishment was justifiable irrespective of what other clubs said on the subject.

But, given how so many of our former players succeeded in getting deals at other prem clubs, immediately after the salary cap reduction that left many players struggling for opportunities. That's something that definitely makes me question how much other clubs knew prior to our downfall. And therefore, potentially you do have a point.

Seeing the young lads go hurts somewhat more than the current starters in some way. We had some great talent that the academy had worked had to nurture and now others will reap the benefits without us getting to see them grow together.

Agreed 100%

There's been a lot going on that hasn't been publicised. I hope we find out the full story one day.

Slim to no chance of that. At least not until it's far to late to be of any consequence for Wasps or for those with their noses deepest in the trough.

It's a distinct feeling of a carve-up. You can have A, B and C, you can take D and E, I'll get  F, G and H,  etc, etc.  but maybe we can swop B and C for E .....................................

But is that such a bad thing if it means the players aren't unemployed? It's exactly what they are doing in the US with the two recently disbanded sides.

We've swooped for enough players from relegated clubs in our time.

No-one wants to see the players unemployed. I think what rankles is the voracity of certain individuals to talk about what should happen to us (when just saying nothing was an option) and then benefit from what they were advocating.
