Apologies, Neils. Feeling particularly low this evening. Hence the appearance of Mr Hyde.

Dan to Pau likely
Alfie to Bath

Good moves for them if they come off.
Both really have potential to be top premiership performers, especially Hartley, and as much as I’m trying, I can’t begrudge him wanting to explore an opportunity at Sarries if it arises.

Confirmed, I think. Signed through until June 2024.

Good luck to him!

Good luck, Jacob.

I would think that the chances of the 'Legends' being able to assemble a competitive (at Premiership level) club are looking somewhat slim at best. Being able to assemble a competitive club at Championship level will be hard enough with the dwindling time they have available. Most clubs will have started stitching up any loose ends for next season already. Those of our lads that want a deal will be tied down by contract, likely for a few seasons (and for some due to age, maybe until they retire).

We will be left to choose those that other clubs do not want, likely persistent injury risk players, or those that do not quite have it. We could be all the way back to being a local town club.

I think you’re right NWW. But it all comes down to cash. By my reckoning those that have not got another club so far are West, Harris, Martinez, Oghre, Cruse, Millar-Mills, Cardall, Stooke, Spink, Odendaal, Kibirige, Curran, Hayden-Wood, Hougaard, Nearchou, Van Vuuren and Wolstenholme. That group plus a few others would easily win the championship. It’s all down to whether we have the cash.

Quite a few of the players who have signed so far have done so for this season only, or as injury cover, so they could be back.

My assumption was more that the guys would take what was on offer in a sellers market, and then look to negotiate "proper" deals when the usual contract expiry / negotiation window beings.

I think hoping anyone will be back (if there is something to come back to) is optimistic.

I was under the impression that some of those had already gone or on the brink of a deal; Odendaal, Hougard, Cardall, Stooke?
