Just read his obit on the Beeb. A very well written piece about a man who captured the essence of rugby. It certainly brings a bit of perspective to what’s happened over the last few months.

Sad news, a huge inspiration to everyone.

I feel honoured to have been at Murrayfield 2 weeks ago for that emotional final public appearance by Doddle.

So sad; what a horrible disease. He was an inspiration, and along with many others has brought attention to the condition, and raised a huge amount of money.

RIP Doddie.
