It's the first interview where I've heard someone prominent from the club say that they were misled by the Leadership Team.

There's been plenty of comments saying they were told everything was under control & being sorted & it then went to "you're all being made redundant" very quickly with no warning.

I mean, Derek himself said everything was fine a few weeks before it wasn't. I am sure that was to steady the ship for potential investors etc. But wouldn't be surprised if that mantra was used internally to staff and players as well.
