No confidence in RFU
« on: July 31, 2023, 03:29:24 PM »
Apparently outgoing RFU Council Chairman Jeff Blackett tabled a motion of no confidence in the governance of the RFU in a meeting in the middle of July which was approved.

Yet, bar coverage by Nick Cain in the Rugby Paper this weekend there is absolutely no coverage of this anywhere at all?

Quite extraordinary.

To publicize it might be against the laws, bringing the game in to disrepute?

What have I missed, governance is the duty of the Board, led by the chairman? Has the Board no confidence in themselves? In which case they should have all resigned.

Do they mean management, the duty of the CEO?
