There's no denying my lack of enthusiasm for the start Borthwick has made as England Head Coach and he's compounded
it by relegating Marcus Smith, the one player who could really make England a joy to watch behind Farrell and Ford as the starting Fly Half.

He will have to have a major rethink for next years Six Nations if he wants to get the fans behind him.

I think Mike's right, we won't really learn about Borthwick until next year's 6N. The question is if he then isn't up to it, or at least showing he has some vision will the RFU take the hard decisions? Probably not because its hard to see the finances being turned round by then.

Am I right in thinking Borthwick has a contract through to the 2028 RWC?

I'm not sure, but that's the way they like to operate.

Borthwick wouldn?t have been my pick but I have to say he also has a bang average group of players to choose from. Terrible SH pool. Not a 12 in sight. Average TH?s. And the second row pool is running dry.

Borthwick could pick Smith and yet doesn't. Pretty criminal. Expect limited tosh until he leaves or gets sacked, and needless to say I didn't want him and would like to see him sacked alongside every other coachwork thinks we can SA light it when it is clear we have not got the pack to do it.

Our former defence coach, Brad Davis, quits as Aussie attack coach on the eve of their World Cup departure due to personal reasons. Wonder if the personal reasons were having to work with Eddie?

Eddie isn't a coach, he is a station, all he does is watch coaches arrive and leave in worse state than they arrived in.
