Since he started with Carnegie they have lifted themselves from relegation certainty to 10th, some 9 points ahead of Hartpury. They are quickly catching up to London Scottish now, just 3 points behind them. I know that when he went to Carnegie, they said they hoped he could rescue them. He has, in style. The match reports show the team starting to get it together (sound familiar?), but they still have bad spells in the games. It is about belief in the Carnegie squad. Right now they believe they aren't being relegated. I don't see him coming back to us this season. Makes me wonder if his contract is up as well.
With WLR going, will Dai replace him, or offer that slot to Miller with Umaga as backup, or even vice versa? If Umaga does not get a place, I think, if I were him, I would be off. It will be a few months yet before we hear which of the Academy lads get a run into the main squad, and which ones we let go or lose. The pessimist in me says Umaga will be off.
