It implies its for the 2019 season, you could read it either way, start or single year.

I'd bet it wasn't 1 year

It says, 'and will be making the switch to Ricoh Arena for the 2019/20 season'. That implies or says nothing about subsequent years. The wording could have been better though, I agree. I wonder how far away he is from being fit again?

Yes, that was not lost on me either!

Throw in the AIs and VI Nations, if he is fit and that is another 10 weeks that he will not be available. Still, as someone has already reminded me, could be a good opportunity for Jacob.

A good signing, as he is likely to be cheaper than some other options, and is already a top operator. That said, nobody knows exactly how much we have signed him for, I am only guessing given his age and country of origin.

I guess Miller/Umaga to back up.

Welcome either way, we certainly needed a signing here.

Not sure there will be too many autumn internationals in the 19/20 season, but good news for my Japan trip as i have tickets for south africa vs italy
