So, did Brookes only sign for one season or has he extended his contract 1.5 season early?

He has done a lot better than a lot of people thought he would do. Hopefully comes back soon in the same form

I suspect that he was a free agent and hadn't got a lot of offers, so Dai took one of his 'give him a go' punts.

I may be sounding a bit smug 8) but I expected Kieran to do a lot better here than he did at Saints. However he actually has surprised me how well he has done. Sorry about his injury. Glad he's re-signed. There were rumours of French interest.

Nope - that doesn't say a new contract. It was taken at the time as referring to KB being a new signing - which he is this season.
