Thank you Chunky.  That's good to know.

We spoke to soon, out for 3 months now.

Tigers are one club I would never give money to. One ground  I refuse to attend on principle for some while now.
Given the way their fans behaved towards us after we went down, if I am there it will be with a large incendiary device. Rugby family? Tigers' fans are living proof that the idea is an illusion.

I've had the opposite experience going there since we went down, always been supportive and welcoming, I know plenty of others did especially through the free tickets offer for the 3 Christmas games they did last year, guess like every family the rugby one has some variety of character!

Great ground, lovely people, quite an atmosphere but not pleased Edinburgh put out a very weakened team. Deserved the scoreline. Realised we missed the hot wine days out!

Also the first time I have left a rugby match at 11pm. This I could do without.

It is disappointing to see weakened teams already, I was going to go to Tigers tomorrow to see some of the Stormers stars but they have left all of them at home ahead of La Rochelle next week so glad to give it a miss.

Sitting outside a cafe in Central Clermont in mild pleasant weather (for now) and a comment was made that - if this had been a Wasps match we would have seen bucket loads of Wasps supporters around by now. Seen precisely two Edinburgh badged fans. How the other league supports?
Also no Wasps travellers must impact places badly.

Keep doing your bit! Enjoy the weekend, Clermont is very high on my grounds to do list.

I watched (briefly) the Sa??ies/Northampton match.  Tom West started, but no sign of Tom Willis - not even on the bench. Hope he isn't injured.  A  marked absence going om here  but at least the bank manager is happy.  I wonder if he'd disappear to France if the chance came?  What a waste. Is Charlie Atkinson being underused too?

Tom Willis played (and scored) in most of the previous rounds, just a lot of competition in that back row.

Charlie not getting much game time at Tigers as Shilcock come in and done well pretty much taking the 10/15 cover spot from him behind Handre, hopefully he is learning a lot from a world cup winner as still young.

Battle of the young Wasps 8s this afternoon - Barbeary vs Fisilau. Both playing really well. Also Elliot Stooke putting in his usual shift.

I see from the Beeb that Alfie scored twice in Bath's 41 - 24 victory over Exeter.

One of them here

Well that was another masterclass by Jacob - could do virtually no wrong ( missed one kick which this season is rare).
Malakai was like a wrecking ball and Paolo had great defence but few chances to run. Edinburgh should have won it (two disallowed tries) but had some silly mistakes. Looked bloody cold so glad we had family dogs to look after.
On Viaplay- I think their quality of picture is better than BT last season. Also good to get different commentators- even if one was a Weegie.

Can watch them all again on S4C tonight against the Ospreys, S4C available through BBC iplayer too.

Funds are only limited for certain things such as supporting the championship, plenty of money available for what / who they want to use it for!

The impressive young Sale tight head, Asher Opoku-Fordjour who looked very good when he came on in last nights game is a Wasps Academy & Kenilworth RFC product.

Got a draw and a replay, slightly disappointed as I have been waiting all weekend to post A4-0 scoreline.

Let's hope they don't fold under the pressure!
;D

Apparently so many are going to the game that the traffic is stationary.

Heard they have a good cutting edge too
