Wasps Rugby Discussion / Sharks vs. Harlequins
« on: April 05, 2019, 08:32:46 PM »
Very close to call, Harlequins marginally ahead. Harlequins look the better side.
And then Quins send a loopy one out wide and McGuigan intercepts and scores......

Wasps Rugby Discussion / What's Gone Wrong with Waisake Naholo

A widely syndicated article, however I think you have to temper it with the fact that the bar that NZ sports pundit set is pretty high, and they are far less forgiving. Naholo 'liked' Irish's Instagram post at the weekend, so I am guessing he is off to them now.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Chiefs - Bath

I am a strong believer that a team's season should be defined by their own merits or not, as the case may be. I am very pleased that Chiefs won today....

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Tigers - Saints
« on: March 22, 2019, 08:50:07 PM »
Difficult one to call from a biased point of view, a draw would be perfect. However at the moment Saints ripping Tigers apart, 502m gained in the first 40 from Saints. Very interesting game and just goes to show anyone can beat anyone this season...second half kicking off..

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Will Homer (SH) - Somerset Live Rumour

Livewire Homer - the younger brother of Tom - has had an impressive season for the Reds in the Championship and we understands Wasps are winning the race for the 23-year-old's signature, with Gloucester possibly still interested.
Another scrum half http://www.itsrugby.co.uk/player-33905.html does this signal Hampson's exit? The SH line up would be Robson, Vellacott, Homer (possibly) and Porter?

I think the rest of the squad need to up their game, so Joe’s last season isn’t a totally desperate one. #coyw

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Almost a cricket score
« on: March 09, 2019, 06:31:05 PM »
Great tries for Brad x2 and Dobby, Campo goes off injured.
A happy man at the moment, this England performance is helping me get over the disappointment of earlier. Great to see Wasps' England players doing so well and not getting injured. Shame about Campo, hopefully it isn't too serious. The England contingent need to bring that form to us for the remainder of the season when they are back.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / A really well crafted article on the future of CCFC
« on: March 05, 2019, 07:58:40 AM »

I do really hope a deal can be done, it would be a tragedy for CCFC to be expelled from the league, perhaps SISU will accept that their elected path is so destructive for all concerend. We will all know later on, but I wish CCFC luck and hope common sense prevails.
“If they had some merit to their challenge we could at least understand why they were pursuing it,” Johnson, who runs the Jimmy Hill Way Campaign, explains. “But they’ve had enough judges ruling against them to make up a football team - some of the best in the country - and still they continue.
“All of this could be stopped tomorrow.”
